Why do I explain myself?

So as a first time blogger I find myself with a lot to say... I may not say things you like to hear, or necessarily want to hear but I'm going to say them anyways. 

Let's start off with a little bit about me.

a worker

a reader

I wear many hats but none of them really define me, nor would I want them to. I am an ever evolving lover of learning. I decided today to start a blog because sometimes I have so much to say yet no outlet to do so. I find myself explaining away choices I make or have made for reasons that maybe no one truly understands. My blog may not be perfect or grammatically correct as I'm a big fan of run on sentences and comma splices but I can assure you it is going to be real.
